Canoeing brings the natural world closer. Gliding quietly in a canoe is the best way to get an up close look at the myriad of waterways in the Opasquia Park , and the many plants and animals that call them home. Make sure to carry your camera, you never know what you might see. The following images on this page express the beauty and remoteness of this well-preserved park.

Northern and walleye flourish in the waters of the Opasquia Park . You will have plenty of chances to catch a "wall hanger," because Canoe Opasquia incorporates a no trophy take out policy. Wildlife is everywhere. Among the spruce and birch trees are bald eagles, bear, moose, osprey, otters, wolves, minks, martins and wolverines.
